What is a Registered Nutritionist?
A Registered Nutritionist is a qualified professional who is there to help you improve your diet and lifestyle. Being registered means that our Nutritionists have done an accredited nutrition course of at least degree level, and are registered with the Association for Nutrition.
They can help to improve your current diet so that you can achieve your goals whether they are weight loss, sporting or fitness related, or to improve your health. Nutritionists have particular areas of expertise in diet related health conditions, such as irritable bowel disease and food intolerances.
When working with a Nutritionist, you will receive a level of support to help you overcome any barriers or problems you may face when trying to change your diet, and guidance that will keep you on track.

Registered Nutritionists are trained to assess your diet and lifestyle and give you areas for improvement to help work towards your goals. Your nutrition plan will take into account your lifestyle, activities and general health.

What to expect from a Nutrition appointment
Your initial nutrition consultation will take 45-60 minutes, during which time you will discuss your situation, needs and goals.
From there your Registered Nutritionist will help you come up with an action plan and provide you with all the tools you need to achieve those goals.
You will receive nutrition advice in your first session, and ongoing nutritional support depending on the service you choose.
