Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Pilates Nutrition Physiotherapy Acupuncture Melbourne Derby Derbyshire Therapy Counselling Wellbeing

There's something about Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough. It calls you from the freezer aisle, weasles its way into your basket and before you know it your spoon has hit the bottom of the empty tub – you might even still be in the supermarket car park! If once the cookie dough is gone you're left with a slight sinking guilty feeling, this recipe is for you.

These raw cookie dough balls are naturally sweetened with dates, packed with protein and will satisfy your cookie dough cravings without the guilt. Plus they're super tasty! I whip up a batch at the start of the week and keep them in the freezer for when I need a sweet treat or a post workout protein boost.

Blend a frozen banana until its thick and creamy then add a few cookie dough bites for the real B&J experience. Feel free to switch it up with cranberries, nut butters, macademia nuts, cocoa powder and different protein flavours and share it with us using #andrarecipes
